DETAILS ABOUT THE PROGRAM

CNA PROGRAM

ON HOLD AT THIS TIME  

Our Nurse Aide  training program is a 6 week program that consists of 30 hours of classroom/lab & 75 hours of on-site clinicals.

After successfully completing all course requirements, students are able to sit for their skills and written test administer be Ivy Tech Community College. After successfully passing both the written and the skills part of the test, students will be placed on the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry.

The cost of the program is:

$3,333.33 for in-person

$1,350 for on-line

We do accept payment arrangements

There is a mandatory non-refundable fee of $400 due at time of registration. This fee is deducted from the total cost of the class

Class times and days vary from session to session.

NEXT START DATE: TBD 

In-person classes will be held Tuesday-Thursday 08:30a-1:00p or 5p-10p  for the first three weeks

Hybrid students work at their own pace on-line through the classroom portion weeks 1-3, but are required to come in weekly for skills check-offs and will attend clinicals per schedule. 

 

The first step to begin the process is scheduling a math & reading test on-site. These tests are administered every Wednesday-Friday from 0700-7:30P

 

You must pay the $100.00 registrations fee at the time of testing.

Requirements for CNA Certification

Who Can Become a CNA?

These are all the requirements for nursing assistant program certification.

New Applicants
  • Complete a 105-hour state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program and competency evaluation.
  • Minimum age: 18, with a high school diploma or GED.

Current CNA in another state with no complaints and pass the competency evaluation exam.

Enrolled in a nursing program and passed Fundamentals of Nursing with a ‘C’ or better.

Graduated within the last 2 years, complete Fundamentals of Nursing, and pass the evaluation.
